Bryan Cardozo is from Lawrenceville, Georgia and began his volleyball career during his senior year of High school on A5’s 18s team, and was one of the first few boys coming out of A5 who committed to playing at the next level and signed as a Libero for Erskine College.


During his 4 years playing in the Erskine College Flying Fleet, he gained a lot of experience and was able to learn more about the game through his fellow teammates. In 2016, his team won the Conference Carolinas Regular season title, which was their second title in 3 years. His team then got the chance to play in the quarter finals of the NCAA DI tournament. In 2017, Bryan ended his season 5th in the Nation in digs with 221 digs for the year. Bryan continues his playing career beyond college and is with the Atlanta Bobcats who are competing in the VLA.


Bryan has been coaching at A5 for 5 years now and during his time here, he has shared his knowledge with his teams and gained experience at various age groups by serving as an assistant coach in the 14s, 16s, 18s age groups. In 202, Bryan took his first assignment as a head coach and led the A5 Boys 18-2s team. Bryan took a break this past season and is now coming back to Head Coach the 16s team. He is looking forward to the season and is very excited to bring his knowledge of the game back this year by developing their skills and enforcing a place of competitiveness and discipline.
