JOSHUA EIDE

17-1 HEAD COACH

Joshua began his volleyball career back in 2011 on A5’s first boy’s team and in 2014 became the first male player from A5 to be recruited at the collegiate level. Joshua went off as a starting freshman as the libero on the men’s team at Johnson and Wales University in Providence, Rhode Island. Since his time as a collegiate athlete, he has coached a variety of age groups for both girls and boys and at the collegiate club level.

Joshua has been coaching for 7 years primarily in boys programs. However, he started his coaching career as the assistant coach for the 16-1s at Cobb Atlanta and the assistant coach for Kell High School. Then, he became the head coach for the women’s and men’s club teams at Kennesaw State University where he also played for some time. He then went to Columbus, Ohio and led the 15-1s Girls and 18-3 Boys teams simultaneously at Advancement Academy. Since his return home to A5, he has been an 18-2s, 17-1s, and 15-1s head coach. Joshua also started his own self-proclaimed “semi-pro” team, The Rejects, and often competes in tournaments around the country.

Joshua brings an abundance of knowledge and passion for the game and makes it his mission to instill confidence in his players on and off the court.
